The excitement fades..
Do you remember when you guys started talking? The texts came almost instantaneously. You both had so much to say that you were fighting for a chance to speak. You were both so happy, so excited to talk to one another. When it was time to go, you’d fight for them to stay, and when the convo started again, the biggest smiles came. Then the replies became shorter. They came later. They seemed less meaningful. And eventually, there wasn’t even be a reply at all…

I think it’s time that I step away from the computer…
If I were a math teacher, I’d have this printed and posted in my classroom. It’s a pretty effective way of remembering which type of line is which.
